Well, deadline’s coming up and I’m finally onto animating. Learned a valuable lesson here though.

Turns out texturing takes a while.

Basic Texture

Not much to say about the basic texture and the detail revision, Pretty much just followed the tutorial provided for those steps.

Final texture with noise overlay and revisions to the model and the texture to add the gold

Took some time at the end though to make up an extra layer for the gold, so as there’s a visual source for the particle effect in the final scene. It also hides the rather bland interior texturing quite well.

The Final Map
